Friends and Family Test (October) – Patient Responses
Shown are Kingfisher Practice’s results from Friends and Family Test, which we sent to all patients. The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) was created to help understand whether patients are happy with the service provided, or where improvements are needed. In total, we received 84 responses in October. Please see the breakdown and some of our responses below:

- The receptionist (Caroline) was kind and helpful. I explained my situation and she booked both of my appointments within half an hour of each other so that I would not have to come back on two separate days. Dr Dehal explained everything in detail and took his time and explained my options. The staff went above and beyond for me during my recent visit.
- Because the Doctor i saw Dr Young, went through my complete medical history with me, offered a lot of advise, and most of all, I felt completely safe with her. Hopefully I hope she is the doctor I get to see every time I make a visit
- Reuben has always been an excellent receptionist, polite, friendly and very helpful. His addition to the lovely nursing and phlebotomy team is a bonus for the practice.
- I didn’t have to wait too long to see the doctor and the receptionist was very pleasant. Dr Carey was very pleasant, thorough and generous with her time. I felt very well looked after.
- Dr Dehal is an exceptional GP. We discussed options and plans. Answering all my questions, listened to my concerns and not dismissive which are all great skills
- As usual people on reception always polite and alert.
- Very good customer service by kingfisher, all the doctors and nurses are very knowledgeable and helpful.
- I was seen on time and the appointment was speedy and effective. Polite professional staff.

- The doctor called me on time for my telephone appointment. She listened to my needs and prescribed more of the medication given to me by the hospital. Nothing requires improving as the services provided by Kingfisher practice are excellent.
- Listened to all symptoms then explained what he thought was wrong in plain English…and since within 2 days have received referral to hospital well impressed
- This a very good and a valued practice as it is. I was able to get to talk to a dicot about my infection and get antibiotics straight away which made a huge impact in my suffering .
