Friends and Family Test (November) – Patient Responses

Shown are Kingfisher Practice’s results from Friends and Family Test, which we sent to all patients. The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) was created to help understand whether patients are happy with the service provided, or where improvements are needed. In total, we received 106 responses in November. Please see the breakdown and some of our responses below:

  • Today I phoned to make an appt.to see the Diabetic nurse. The reception staff Claire was very pleasant and helpful.
  • Reuben’s bedside nature is calming and gentle. He kept me informed of what he was doing, which put me at ease.
  • Dr Dehal, went the extra mile by dealing with another health issue and listened to my concerns. He then sent me a text message explaining the next course of action. Darina took bloods and monitored my blood pressure..I was seen on time and greeted by a very friendly receptionist.
  • Dr Bella and the student nurse were brilliant, caring, and efficient and could not do enough to help me and treat me Also Dr Francesca showed real patient care by coming into check on me and my progress although I hadn’t made an appointment with her
  • Patients first. Good and polite administration, and good service with staff. Doctor Carey very good and excellent Doctor.
  • Dr Carey was very friendly and efficient, diagnosing my condition quickly, discussing treatment options with me and putting my mind at rest. It was my first time meeting her and she is an excellent addition to the Kingfisher team.
  • Caroline on reception is an asset to the practice. Plus the nurse who took my blood was very friendly
  • Booking process has substantially improved in the last year- much faster and new staff are very helpful and pleasant
  • Always very informative, helpful and efficient. Telephone manner is polite and professional. Never had any trouble getting through and I like the queue system so you knew where you are. Excellent service!
  • Recently I have had to have a few appointments at the surgery and have been extremely impressed with how my issues and appointments have been attended to
