Neurodiversity Support

Families and individuals living with neurodiverse conditions such as autism and ADHD can access local and national support through charities offering workshops, peer groups, therapies, and activity-based learning. Use the links below for more information or to make a self-referral.

  • Autism Research Institute – Their focus at ARI is to advance an ambitious research agenda while providing the latest science-based information for people of all ages on the autism spectrum. They do this through annual and regional think tanks, in-person and online educational events and courses, free webinars, and by funding the studies that hold the most promise for making a difference in the lives of people with autism. – https://autism.org/

  • Knots Arts – They create inclusive, friendly and fun sessions were children and young people feel safe and supported to develop their communication skills and build friendships. By meeting others who are also neurodiverse or experiencing social communication difficulties, children are able to work together to embrace their differences and overcome any obstacles that they may face. – https://www.knotsarts.com/
